David Jerome is a rising actor and model in Michigan. As an actor, he is represented by Charlie's Talent Agency. As a model, he is represented by various agencies including Affiliated Group and Productions Plus - The Talent Shop. David studied film acting at the Dramatic Arts Studio in Michigan. This studio and it's owner/instructor Christopher Bondy are known in Michigan for putting out strong talent. David can also be seen in the upcoming webseries: "The Adventures of Jack Uzi" where he has a recurring role as FBI Agent Pogue and in the student feature film Blood Angel where he plays a type of vampire, a Vangrel Soldier (Under 5). As a model, he has recently done print ads for Chevrolet. Growing up, acting was about the last thing that David thought he would be doing. This is because he was a shy kid and never really performed anything. While earning a business degree at Wayne State University, David got the opportunity to further pursue two things he had always been interested in - weightlifting and martial arts. He studied Karate and Jujutsu and had much success with weightlifting, which later led him to become a personal trainer. He had hoped this would be his career - things did not turn out that way and he found himself wondering what his future would be. Having a business degree, he worked a few sales jobs but did not enjoy them. And, after a few years, he considered acting as a result of seeing that many films were coming to Michigan to take advantage of the incentives. David had actually been interested in acting for several years, but only to a small degree. He had even taken a few theater classes while at Wayne State, but never pursued it. In 2009, David decided to pursue acting, but to first pursue modeling in an effort to get more comfortable in front of the camera. Finding agencies that would sign him was difficult and he did not have much success for the first few years. Instead, he found that he got a lot of work as a film extra, which gave him some experience being on a set and learning what kind of work goes into making a motion picture. The biggest event he was able to participate in during this time was becoming a regular extra as a detective on the ABC TV series Detroit 187. Seeing the actors work each week on the set of the show, while taking acting classes at the same time, convinced David that he wanted to be more than an extra. He wanted to be one of the stars on a TV show or in the movies. This desire drives him to achieve his goals.
